If you’re a developer right now, you’ve probably noticed something:
With AI, projects start fast…
and they pile up even faster.
The hard part isn’t building anymore.
It’s deciding what to ship next.
That’s why I built Projiter.
What Is Projiter?
Projiter is a free, priority-first project organizer for developers.
It’s intentionally simple:
- Prioritize your projects
- Keep your next actions visible
- Stop drowning in half-started work
No bloated features. No heavy PM process.
Just clarity.
The Problem: Projects Spawn Faster Than We Can Finish Them
AI makes it easy to:
- Prototype a new idea in minutes
- Open multiple “side quests”
- Promise yourself you’ll come back later
For me, the issue wasn’t a lack of productivity.
It was too much parallel work and not enough focus.
I tried docs, kanban boards, and full project management tools.
They’re great, but many come with overhead that doesn’t match solo dev life.
What I really wanted was something that fit how I actually work:
- Pick the most important project right now
- Keep a short list of next steps
- Park long-term ideas without letting them distract me
The Solution: A Priority-First Dashboard
Projiter is built around a simple workflow:
- Create projects
- Give each a priority from 1-10 (1 = highest priority)
- Drag and drop to reorder when reality changes
- For every project, maintain two lists:
- Short-term goals – what you’re actively pushing forward
- Long-term goals – ideas you don’t want to forget
That’s it.
What Projiter Does (Today)
🧭 Organize by Priority
- Priority scale from 1-10
- Simple drag-and-drop ordering
✅ Track Progress Without Friction
- One-line project status
- Mark goal items complete as you go
⏳ Plan in Two Horizons
- Short-term vs long-term goals per project
- Focus now without losing future ideas
📝 Capture Context
- Project notes for decisions, links, and reminders
At the end of the day, Projiter is meant to answer one question:
“What should I work on next?”
Why I’m Releasing It for Free
I built Projiter as a solopreneur to solve my own problem.
But I know I’m not the only developer dealing with a growing pile of projects.
So I’m releasing it for free to help other builders:
- Stay focused
- Reduce mental clutter
- Ship more
A Note About Open Source
Projiter is free to use, but the source code is not on GitHub (for now).
I’m still iterating quickly, and I’m not ready to maintain it as an open-source project yet.
The goal of this release is simple: share the tool itself and give back immediately.

If you try it, I’d genuinely love your feedback:
- What would make this part of your daily workflow?
- What feels annoying or missing?
- What should I build next?
